Putturu MLA Mr. Sanjeeva Mattandoor visits temple on 08.03.2020

Mr. Sanjeeva Mattandoor, Puttur MLA, Karnataka, visited the Temple on 08.03.2020 evening. On arrival, he was welcomed by the Jeernodhara Committee President Dr. U. B. Kunikullaya, Vice-President Mr. Madhusudhan Ayar, Gen. Secretary Mr. Babu Maniyani Agalpady, Treasurer Mr. Ishwar Rao Mailthotty, Mathru Samithi Hon.Advisor Smt. Vasanthi Teacher, Mathru Samithi President Smt. Prathibha Rani, Youth Wing President Mr. Rajesh Agalpady, Executive Committee members and Managing Trustee Dr. Kishore Kumar Ubrangala.

Mr. Mattandoor surveyed the Jeernodhara works in progress at the temple - currently, Granite laying work is going on - and appreciated the work quality. He was shown around the Temple by the Trustee and Managing committee members and was presented a copy of the Temple Album & the Granite laying plan with estimate. Later, he addressed the Jeerodhara Committee meeting. He stressed the need for renovation of ancient temples like Ubrangala temple and the important role it plays in the cultural and social development of the region. He prayed for the speedy completion of renovation works.

On the same occassion, he honoured the local talent Kum. Shobitha - who had won couple of Gold Medals in this year`s Mangalore University`s M.Sc Examinations. Jeernodhara Committee President Dr. U. B. Kunikullaya blessed Kum. Shobitha with Temple Prasadam and Cash incentive on behalf of Managing Committee.
